Bring a standout moment from the world of World War 2 into the spotlight with World War 2 Willys MB (1207 Pcs), a character-led collectible designed to make a display feel more alive.
The licensed Willys Jeep was released as an advanced 1:12 scale model and fits perfectly into the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy!
The world's most popular off-road vehicle was carefully designed using COBI construction blocks and consists of 1,207 elements. Completely new elements with details reflecting the appearance of the historic car were created especially for this set.
The huge block Willys MB has a characteristic grill and hood, realistic turning wheels, a working steering wheel, interior details and a reproduced engine. The brick vehicle is equipped with a heavy machine gun and brick gasoline cans that can be attached to the back. The wheels with rubber tires rotate and turn and can be moved while playing.
The blocks feature high-quality prints with historical markings of a vehicle that served in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army. A historic vehicle from 1944 painted in exactly the same way is owned by COBI and was used as a model for this wonderful collector's set!
The set also perfectly complements our very rich Historical Collection WWII series! Build history, piece by piece, with COBI.
Jeep Willys MB was a legendary off-road vehicle that played a key role during World War II. Produced by the American company Willys-Overland Motors, it was part of a military program to provide vehicles for the United States army and its allies. Willys MB was characterized by a simple design, solidity and reliability in difficult field conditions.
Its compact size, durability and ability to navigate difficult terrain have made it a legend in automotive history. After the war, the popularity of the Jeep Willys MB contributed to the development of the Jeep brand and became an inspiration for later models of off-road vehicles.
