Przewalski's (pronounced shuh-VAL-skee) horse also called the takhi, which means 'Spirit' in Mongolian, is a stocky wild horse with a dun-coloured coat and a dark brown erect mane, now extinct in the wild. Although some of these horse's have been confined to zoo's, no one has ever been able to tame a Przewalski horse.
